What is DDD KOREA CONNECT?
A telecom platform for international visitors and long-stay residents in Korea: eSIM, SIM, Korean 010 numbers, long-stay mobile and home internet — run by a group that operates consumer telecom in Korea. It is not a travel agency, not a booking platform and not a ticket seller.
Can I buy anything right now?
No — and that is deliberate. Products open only after carrier and supplier contracts, pricing and operations are confirmed. Today you can reserve interest and use the tools — we plan to contact reserved visitors as products open.
Is a Korean 010 number the same as Korean identity verification?
No — and this matters. A 010 number lets you call, text and receive SMS. Identity verification (PASS, banking and government apps) is a separate capability that depends on how the line is registered. We always show it as its own field, per product, and only when confirmed.
My phone does not support eSIM. Am I stuck?
Not at all. Physical SIM and pocket Wi-Fi cover the same trip. Use Check My Phone — it is honest about what a browser can tell, and shows you how to verify on the device.
When will products open?
We do not promise dates we cannot keep. Each product page shows its real status; anything not marked available is in preparation, and we plan to contact reserved visitors first when that changes.
How are prices decided?
Prices appear only when a product is genuinely bookable. Until then you will not see numbers on this site — a price you cannot act on is just decoration.
Can we order for a group or event?
That is exactly what Group & Event Connect is being designed for: one bulk order, per-participant QR issuance and organizer support. Send a group inquiry — and never include passport data in the form.
I am staying for months. What should I do?
Follow the Long-Stay Bridge: land with a data eSIM, move to a passport-based prepaid line, then convert long-term once your documents are ready. Each step is confirmed per product before anything is sold.
